Mr. Muhammad Humair Karim Kidwai, Secretary, Economic Affairs Division (EAD) / Pakistan’s Acting Governor to the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Board of Governors, participated in the 51st Annual Meeting of the IsDB Board of Governors during the IsDB Group Annual Meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Mr. Muhammad Humair Karim Kidwai, Secretary, Economic Affairs Division (EAD) / Pakistan’s Acting Governor to the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Board of Governors, participated in the 51st Annual Meeting of the IsDB Board of Governors during the IsDB Group Annual Meetings in Baku, Azerbaijan. Pakistan also welcomed the IsDB 5-Year Corporate Strategy 2026–2030 under the IsDB Group 10-Year Strategic Framework 2026–2035, particularly its emphasis on country engagement, regional integration, resource mobilization, operational effectiveness and One IsDB Group delivery. Secretary EAD appreciated IsDB Group’s continued development support to member countries, including Pakistan, and supported strengthening of concessional resources, technical assistance, scholarships, Islamic finance development and governance reforms aimed at improving institutional efficiency, representation and development effectiveness.
